artwork of the weekend

the cover of a record is important. trust me, i've seen my boss' reaction to bad artwork on covers. apart from that, it's known that you're not supposed to "judge a book by its cover", and the same thing, i guess, is applicable on records and their covers. but still the artwork can leave a long-lasting impression. to make it short, here are the five record covers that left quite enduring impressions during my walk through the record store's aisles this weekend:

Kraftwerk - "Trans-Europe Express"

Steppenwolf - "At Your Birthday Party"

Whatnauts - "Reaching For The Stars"

The Paupers - "Ellis Island"

Bionic Boogie - "Bionic Boogie"

That Bionic Boogie cover is so amazing! I want it on my wall. OR maybe I should wear that outfit on Halloween!
